What Csar Chvez means to me:
"The experience that I had in the UFW with Csar E. Chvez
has given me a foundation to continue to help and speak up

Where there is no food, I speak up. Where there is animal
cruelty, I speak up. When someone is afraid and feels no one
cares, I care. It is my conscience that leads me to try and
help when I can, when I know where to go it is my duty to
help. I have to stay humble, because people trust me."

"Those two years with the union were a defining experience in my life. Like so many people who came into contact with Chavez and the farmworkers, I was indelibly changed by the process. Although it was
the start of my work as a filmmaker, the real lessons that I learned
were about how society works and how it can be changed."
