César E. Chávez
It is especially important during these times of conflict and uncertainty that we remember those who believed in peace, equality, and justice.
César Chávez was born on March 31st, 1927 in Yuma, Arizona. He dedicated his life to social and environmental justice for all Americans - challenging the terrible, cruel working conditions faced by farm workers. César drew the attention of millions to the plight of farm workers and inspired a movement for social change.
"...one of the heroic
figures of our time."
