Cooking Demonstration by Bauman College at the Tuesday Berkeley Farmers' Market

A Series of Cooking Demonstrations at the Tuesday Berkeley Farmers' Market sponsored by Bauman College with Trudy Schafer. Trudy Schafer, M.A. is a Natural Chef Instructor at Bauman College who brings a holistic healing approach to the kitchen using organic whole foods. She specializes in cooking nutritional and appetizing cuisine for people healing from illnesses. She runs a personal chef business, The Healing Hearth. Demonstrating: Savory Peach, Tomato & Red Onion Salsa. Future Cooking Demonstration: September 21 -- Corn Salad. Bauman College aims to create a sustainable culture of wellness in individuals, communities, and health care delivery systems by promoting a comprehensive and integrative approach to Holistic Nutrition and the Culinary Arts. They offer training programs for Nutrition Educators, Nutrition Consultants, and Natural Chefs. Their Eating For Health ™ model advocates the use of whole, organic foods, nutritive herbs, and appropriate supplementation to promote health, restore metabolic balance, and support recovery from injury and illness. The Tuesday Berkeley Farmers' Market is near Ashby BART and buses on MLK and Shattuck / street parking.
Time: 4:30pm - 6:30pm.
Location: Tuesday Berkeley Farmers' Market, Derby St. at MLK, Jr. Way, Berkeley.
Cost: Free admission.
