Annual Tomato Tasting at the Saturday Berkeley Farmers' Market
An opportunity to sample, for free, all at one table, the whole amazing range of tomato varieties (about 35) at the Saturday Berkeley Farmers' Market. Including: Great White, Black Prince, Marvel Stripe, Cherokee Purple, Brandywine, Sun Gold, Sweet One Hundred, Green Zebra, Yellow Pear, Sweet Gold, Early Girl, Lemon Boy, Black Plum, Celebrity, Ace, Golden Jubilee, Red Pear, Royal Flush, Golden Pear, Roma, Evergreen, Shady Lady, Beefsteak, Sweet Millions, Sausage, Thesalonika, Supertasty, Miracle Sweet, Ivory Pear, Black Krim, Persimmon Orange, Arkansas Traveller, Delicious, Mister Stripey, etc. One block from downtown Berkeley BART, street and lot parking. Please note: all three Berkeley Farmers' Markets are at different locations.
Time: 10am - 3pm.
Location: Saturday Berkeley Farmers' Market, Center St. at MLK Jr. Way, Berkeley.
Cost: Free.
