Bay Area Wheat Makes a Comeback

SF Chronicle reporter Tara Duggan discovers that heirloom wheat is being grown within a 100-mile radius of the Bay Area. Flour and wheat berries from Sonora wheat are available at Full Belly's farm stand at the Tuesday Berkeley Farmers' Market. Whole wheat bread made from the wheat is available at Morrell's Bread at the Thursday and Saturday Berkeley Farmers' Market.
